Closing dates for ideas – this friday

Posted in Uncategorized at 5:07 pm by The big what adventure

Thanks for all the submissions and comments so far. On Friday we’lll put everything in the gallery and take the best ideas to our Clients. And over the next couple of weeks we’ll let you know if and how we’d like to proceed with your work.

The site will also change in the next few days,  just because it’s a bit of a ramble at the moment and we’d like to make things clearer. But everything in it will stay the same.

Thanks

TV ad for Singstar

Posted in Uncategorized at 4:18 pm by The big what adventure

submitted byb Rob In England you also have programs like “Idols” probably.. So in the commercial you would begin by showing the judges telling the candidate to introduce himself and tell which song he/she’s going to sing. Ofcourse you have to choose the worst singers shown on tv, those who everybody remembers (but ppl with a kind of “flair” ofcourse). After awhile you show the baseline “Wanna be a superstar? Start at home” and showing the Singstar symbol.

idea for singstar

another good one from Yonihave songs played in the radio without the singing just the music, (people will sing with it while driving) and at the end: “brought to you by singstar”. same for tv with the music video and graphics.

what do you think?

Singstars booths in shopping centers. Once people will try it while shopping (with their friends/family), they won’t resist buying one. It will only let you play for few minutes (each time) so other people can try as well.

Nissan Note idea

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:46 pm by The big what adventure

idea from joeasy

I think that the best way to market Nissan’s family car is to actually raise
a family in it.

Find a young couple. pay them a million pounds.

Marry them in it.
Honeymoon in it.
Get them to consumate in it.
Give birth in it.
Christen the kid in it.
Divorce in it.

(the last one is a flippant remark by the way).

I’m not an advertiser so i dont know what you do with this idea, but I’m
sure you could film all of it (bar the consumation) put on the television or
internet. there must be somewhere to house it.

the family don’t have to stay David Blaine style in the car constantly.
Maybe they just make a diary of them in the car each day and that goes up on
the net.

Then it literally IS a family car.

Flavio writes -

What about putting a Nissan car model in a giant post it and have a family drive on in a pre-marked course carttoon type drawed in the post it.

Of course it does not to be the trademark 3M post it but playing with the idea of the name note.

playstation 3 – ‘what does living look like to you?’

Posted in LIVE BRIEFS at 3:23 pm by The big what adventure

To help launch PLAYSTATION 3, we’ve created a series of films that explain the key features of PLAYSTATION 3 and why we describe it as ‘This Is Living’. Check them out at www.eu.playstation.com/ps3

Now we want to know ‘What does living look like to you?’

So, create a short film that answers this question, send it in and if it’s good enough we’ll put it on the PS3 site. Your films don’t need to be pro – they could be just 60” long and shot on a mobile. But they should feel surprising, inventive and playful.

wow. Certainly family fun, maybe there’s loads more fun things a family can do in the Nissan Note, that’s not neccesarily about driving? Thanks to Stephen for this idea.
